3D Squiggly Artwork
For this artwork, you will need:
- A blank piece of A5 paper (or half of an A4 piece of paper) - A lead pencil - An eraser/rubber - A black or coloured permanent marker - Some coloured markers or pencils (If you want to colour it in) How to make it First, before you start, make sure that you are creating your artwork on a stable and smooth surface. Check that you have everything you need and that everything works (for example, make sure that your lead pencil is sharpened and that the markers have ink in them). 1. Draw one squiggly line across the middle of your page. Your page has to be landscape (horizontal). 2. Draw 6 to 10 vertical lines across your page from top to bottom. 3. Next, draw little curved lines or 'rainbows' from the middle line to the top of the page. Do the same to the bottom half of the page but use curved lines that are up-side-down or 'smilie-faces'. 4. Continue this pattern until each squiggle column is filled with 'rainbows' and 'smilie-faces'. You will see that when you have done this step, the main line that you begun with, has 'disappeared' in a way, meaning you can no longer see it for it blends in with the other lines. 5. Use your black or coloured marker (preferably black) to go over the top of the pencil drawing. Continue this for the whole page.
6. Now you have the choice whether to colour it in or not. I did mine just black and white but if your want, you can experiment and put any colours you want in your 3D artwork. Basic Tree ArtThe Basic Tree artwork is pretty easy to create! Just follow these simple step-by-step instructions:
For this artwork you will need: - a sheet of A4 paper - a lead pencil - a rubber - coloured pencils (if you want) - paint: green, orange, pink or red - a paintbrush How to make it If you want, you can base your tree on a photograph or just a tree outside. Or, you can draw it from your imagination. Step 1 - Drawing the trunk To draw the trunk of your tree, start at the bottom of the page and draw a squiggly, crooked line up to about half way up the page. Draw another line next to it; you don't have to draw it identical to the other line, just try and keep them both parallel to each other. Start larger at the bottom and smaller at the top. Your tree trunk could look something like this: Step 2 - The lines in the trunk
Next, your tree trunk has to have lines. To do this, you must start at the bottom of the page and end at the top; make sure you're lines aren't perfect, the squigglier the better! Once you have completely covered you're tree in lines, you can now decide whether you want to leave it like that or add some colour to it. If you wish the latter, use any coloured sketch pencil that you want and lightly shade the trunk as you want. Step 3 - The leaves PLEASE COME BACK LATER FOR MORE INSTRUCTIONS, SORRY FOR THE INCONVENIENCE. |
